The former child star’s former neighbor has revealed that Amanda acted unusually during her time in her previous New York apartment.
Amanda reportedly liked to leave the door to her unit open, and favored red lightbulbs.

Bizarre: Amanda Bynes, pictured in September, reportedly acted oddly in her former New York apartment building, according to a neighbour

‘Her door was left open all the time,’ said one of the Nickelodeon star’s former neighbors. ‘And we saw that she put red [lightbulbs] in every outlet.’
In addition, the tenant describes a time they saw Amanda acting very strangely in the early hours of the morning.
The person in question allegedly saw the 26-year-old coming down to the lobby ‘at 2 a.m. one morning, laughing hysterically for four minutes’.

She then apparently ‘went back to her apartment.’
The source told the New York Post that Amanda initially was ‘really nice’ and tried to befriend her neighbours, before her ‘weird’ behaviour began.
The insider said: ‘She was really nice at first. She knocked on some doors and introduced herself and wanted to hang out, but then she started acting weird.’
