Like many of the dresses Michelle has worn lately, her style was very lady-like.

While she missed out on the award for Best Actress, Michelle appeared in high-spirits as she beamed on the red-carpet at the Crimson club venue.
The awards are usually announced ahead of the ceremony and this year they were read out in December last year.
Instead, the prestigious accolade went to one of her older peers, Annette Bening, who arrived with her actor husband Warren Beatty.

The actress wore a black glittery 80's inspired prom dress that failed to flatter her enviable slim figure.

Like Annette, Melissa is also nominated for both a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award this year for her film, The Fighter.
