However, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio chose to 'settle the score' with her adorable three-year-old daughter Anja Louise with a spirited water gun duel on Malibu Beach today.
The 31-year-old Victoria's Secret stunner wore a sheer red beach coverup over her enviable bikini body -- two months after giving birth to her second child -- and put her long brunette locks up in a 'battle-ready' ponytail.

Meanwhile, her energetic little toddler, who turns four in August, excitedly ran around shooting the water cannon towards her doting mother wearing a pink t-shirt over a green bathing suit with a cute white tutu.
It was an opportunity for just mother and daughter to have some quality time together, with the catwalk queen being focused on Anja's little brother in recent weeks.
She and fiancé, Californian businessman Jamie Mazur, welcomed their son Noah Phoenix on May 7.
If Alessandra is suffering from lack of sleep and general baby stress, she certainly wasn't showing it on the beach.

The mother-of-two kept her hat and a T-shirt and then a sweater on for her seaside antics.
Alessandra recently said she was determined to be back to her tiny 34-25-34 size, as she prepares for the launch of the Victoria's Secret store in London in July.
