He's just returned from some family time with brother Liam in Sydney.

Chris was accompanied by his wife of 2 years, Spanish model Elsa Pataky, 36, who dressed similarly in jeans and a casual sweatshirt.
Little India Rose, who was born in London in May, was wearing a polka dot onesie with a blue hoodie to keep her warm.

Chris recently described fatherhood as 'wonderful'.

When asked about his daughter, he told Us magazine: 'She sleeps very well. Not out of any skill on my behalf, but my wife has been amazing.'

And when asked what the best part about fatherhood is so far, Chris replied: 'Just her being here.

'It's certainly taken all my focus and attention away from work - or what have you - but that's the main thing on my brain right now. It's wonderful.'

The pair clearly dote on their daughter, who was born in May last year, and has changed their lives in every way.

'We changed some nappies and tried to get some sleep and that didn't really work and we hung out with the baby,' Chris told Us Weekly shortly after India was born. 'It's all very new.'

Chris also revealed how they came to call their baby girl India.

It was just a name we liked,' Chris added. 'I always kind of liked Indie or Indiana for a boy, and she liked India. We sort of went, "Oh well, whether it's a boy or girl, that will decide." It just seemed to fit.'

The Melbourne-born star, has gained fame in a string of box office hits including The Avengers, Snow White and the Huntsman and The Cabin in the Woods.

And it's been announced that Chris is going to star in an Untitled Michael Mann cyber-terrorism thriller, the details of which are being kept under wraps.

The former Home & Away star's younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, meanwhile  was in Manila as he continues to deal with the aftermath of his reported split from the fiancee Miley Cyrus.

The Aussie star - who until Friday had been laying low in Sydney - was set to attend at a red carpet screening for his new film Empire State at the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday, March 19, but pulled out.

Whilst in Australia, Liam spent time with Chris, Elsa and India Rose and he has been enjoying some down time with his loved ones
A source previously said: 'He doesn't seem especially sad [or] happy. He seems to be enjoying seeing his family as far as we can tell.'
