Single Rachel McAdams gets roses and cuddles from mascot at basketball game in first outing since Michael Sheen split

She just split with Michael Sheen after two years of dating.

But newly single Rachel McAdams is already courting attention from a smitten mascot at Monday night's Toronto Raptors game at the Air Canada Centre.

The 34-year-old actress was watching the Raptors play the Washington Wizards courtside when the affectionate dinosaur stomped over and offered her a bouquet of roses, a dino-kiss, and a plush toy of himself.

The Canadian redhead beamed with excitement at her sharp-toothed suitor's touching public gesture and responded with her own wide grin.
Rachel, wearing a baby blue peasant blouse and dark blue jeans, appeared to be in great spirits despite her recent breakup with the 44-year-old Welshman.
Us Weekly first reported the couple calling it quits, but a source told E! News that the split might only be temporary.
'It's likely not permanent,' said the insider, calling the breakup a 'temporary hiccup.'

Rachel and Michael fell in love shortly after filming Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, but the pressures of long-distance love ultimately lead to the split.

The Notebook star lives in Toronto, Canada, while the Tron: Legacy funnyman divides his time between his native Wales and Los Angeles.
She said: 'Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart - we rack up a lot of air miles - but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not.

'Trying to establish roots somewhere is a bit of a joke.'

The couple were last photographed together in November while attending the LA premiere of the Twilight saga – Breaking Dawn: Part II, which Sheen starred in.
Back in 2003 when Sheen ended his eight-year relationship with Kate Beckinsale, the English actress said she was 'embarassed' that he never proposed.

The former couple are supportive parents to 14-year-old daughter Lily, and Kate remarked that she felt they had been married.

'If you keep a library book out long enough, you feel it's yours,' Beckinsale told People.
Trouble surfaced last October when Michael abruptly quit Twitter after receiving hurtful comments asking how a beautiful woman would date him.

He said at the time: 'I don’t need to read those things. It was just abuse, people writing stupid things, as people do.

'On the one hand Twitter gives you the opportunity to engage with people, which is great, but on the other there are people who feel they can say whatever they want, put poison out there, really, without fear of any repercussions.'
Before Sheen, Rachel's most famous former romance was with Ryan Gosling, to whom she was briefly engaged before their split in 2007.

The Wedding Crashers actress will next appear in Terrence Malick's drama To the Wonder, Richard Curtis's sci-fi comedy About Time, and Anton Corbijn's thriller A Most Wanted Man.

Meanwhile, Sheen has the Tina Fey comedy Admission, the family-fantasy Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box, and the Showtime series Masters of Sex.

Not the best career move! Kerry Washington risks Harvey Weinstein's wrath after NOT wearing his wife's fashion label to the Oscars

Django Unchained star Kerry Washington risked upsetting film mogul Harvey Weinstein by not wearing his wife's fashion label to the Oscars.
According to the New York Post the actress was meant to wear a 'stunning' custom-made Marchesa gown created by Mr Weinstein's other half and A-list favorite, Georgina Chapman.
But she decided to ditch the dress last-minute in favor of a crystal-embellished Miu Miu frock.
Miss Washington attended the Oscars to present and because her most recent film Django Unchained, produced by Mr Weinstein, was up for several awards.
One fashion industry source said: 'Isn’t it career kamikaze to upset Harvey’s wife on such an important night?'
As well as jeopardizing her career Miss Washington may also have damaged her relationship with Ms Chapman.
The two have been longtime friends and regularly attend social events together.
In 2009 they made a grand entrance to the Music Unites Fall Masquerade in New York wearing matching tutu-like Marchesa designs.
At Sunday's Academy Awards in Los Angeles only one photograph released from the event shows them together.
In the shot Ms Chapman and Mr Weinstein are seen sharing an awkward conversation with Miss Washington at the dinner table during the Governors Ball.
However Miss Washington wasn't the only actress who appeared a Weinstein-produced film but did not to wear Marchesa to the ceremonies.

Jennifer Lawrence, the star of Silver Linings Playbook, shone in a stunning strapless Dior Couture gown.

But as the newest face of Dior the brand was a fitting choice.
Stars who did wear Marchesa at this year's Oscars included Olivia Munn, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and Georgina Chapman herself.
It is the second time Miss Washington has worn a Miu Miu design to a red carpet event this year.
At the 2013 Golden Globes she stepped out wearing a shimmering nude-colored design.
A Marchesa representative declined to comment on Miss Washington's Oscars dress choice.

Footwear fit for a princess! Cinderella's glass slippers are given a modern-day makeover by A-list favorite Stuart Weitzman

There would be no 'happily ever after' for Cinderella without her glitzy glass slippers, so careful attention was paid to the shoes for the princess-to-be's Broadway opening this weekend.
For Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, which officially opens Sunday at the Broadway Theatre, costume designer William Ivey Long and footwear designer Stuart Weitzman created a pair of pumps so sparkly they 'light up the upper balcony,' Weitzman says.
'The shoe is its own character in the show, and it will inspire the dream for so many other women.'
Fit for a princess: Shoe designer Stuart Weitzman created a pair of glass slippers for actress Laura Osnes who plays the title role in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway

Shoe shopaholics and Carrie Bradshaw types surely have been inspired by the Cinderella fashion fantasy, muses Weitzman, a 26-year industry veteran.
How could they not? After all, he says, Cinderella gets the shoes - flattering, delicate and powerful all at once - and then gets her Prince Charming.

When people describe the stunning bride or the prettiest red-carpet starlet, the comparison rarely - if ever - is made to Sleeping Beauty or Snow White.
It's always Cinderella, belle of the ball.
'Cinderella is the gold standard for aspiration,' agrees Long. 'The slippers are so iconic, and they are recognized worldwide.'

He says their only rival might be Dorothy's red ruby slippers in The Wizard Of Oz.
Because the shoes are so famous, the designers had to work with a certain set of expectations: The shoes had to be romantic and sexy, have a sparkly fairy-dust touch - and they had to be seen by everyone in the theater.
Actress Laura Osnes, who plays Cinderella, couldn't risk shards and splinters from real glass, so the designers used Plexiglas instead.
Weitzman employed a welded-construction technique that uses no screws, normally used in high heels, so Cinderella could have a seamless look.
'This is the most magical world I've been asked to conjure up,' says Long, whose 60-plus show credits include costumes for Chicago, Hairspray and The Boy From Oz.

Instead of going all Disney or using the famous French illustrations that came a century before (Cinderella-style folk tales are hundreds of years older than that) as inspiration,
Long decided to weave nature - with an emphasis on butterflies and vines - into his visual picture instead of a particular time or place.
The idea that Cinderella had to be the most beautiful woman in the room, with the most gorgeous dress and coveted shoes, is what guided him and Weitzman, Long says.
They had to walk a fine line to avoid anything too gimmicky, even working on the giant Broadway stage, so they decided against threading lights through the heel of the shoe or other special effects.
Weitzman knows how to create shoes that light up a room. For years, he made 'million-dollar Oscar shoes,' diamond-covered footwear that a celebrity would wear to the Academy Awards. He gave that up at the height of the recession, but says he can do pretty much the same dazzling look with crystals.
The designer says he could imagine his typical customer wearing a version of the Cinderella slipper at a summer party, a night at the opera or a night on the town. He adds: 'It would be one sexy shoe with cool jeans.'
Yes, his Clearly Timeless collection based on the fairy-tale footwear is being shipped to stores.

Lady, start your engine! Tamara Ecclestone revs up her hair for the first issue of Formula magazine

As the glamorous daughter of Bernie Ecclestone, the first edition of Formula magazine wouldn't be complete without the face of Tamara.
And the Formula One heiress certainly revved up her look for the photo shoot, wearing her brunette hair big and bountiful as she posed in front of a race car.
In the new monthly F1 publication, the 28-year old talks about her dad and his influence on her own business ventures.

Speaking to the magazine, the F1 heiress said, 'I love working and need a reason to wake up.'

'I want my family to be proud of me, and Dad always tells me he’s proud of my charity work and that I’ve found my way.'
But Tamara's new venture is into the world of beauty, as she prepares to launch her own haircare range.

'I’m very driven, I’m launching a new brand soon, a haircare brand,' she said.
'So let’s hope I’ve inherited some of my dad’s commercial judgement.'
Tamara can focus on her work now that her ex-fiance Derek Rose has been sent to jail for four years after his attempt to blackmail her and her father out of £200,000.
Talking about her brand - set to launch in November this year - the British socialite says her 'obsession with hair and beauty' is the reason why she wants to produce her own signature products.
'We’ve had loads of salon trials and I’ve blow-dried people’s hair with it,' she told the Daily Express.
With her roots in the racing world, and her father Bernie being considered the leading authority in Formula One, there is a question of whether Tamara will fill his shoes when he steps aside as CEO.
But the responsibility of the role is something the model is definitely not ready for.
'I wouldn’t want to destroy what
he’s built up – I wouldn’t trust myself,' she told Formula.

The Formula cover star is Mercedes AMG driver Lewis Hamilton, MBE.
In 2008 he was named Formula One World Champion while driving with the McLaren team.

But since moving to Mercedes AMG in 2012, Lewis has admitted they aren't ready to win big yet.
'People are talking us up at the moment - [Sebastian] Vettel and Fernando saying we're going to be competing for the world championship.'
'Well, I really don't see that happening at the moment,' Hamilton said.

The full interview with Tamara can be found in the first issue of Formula magazine, out now.

Anything J.Lo can do: Now Marc Anthony, 44, goes public with HIS younger model... 21-year-old Topshop heiress Chloe Green

He only split from model girlfriend Shannon De Lima a month ago, but it looks like Marc Anthony has wasted no time in moving on.
The Latin singer, 44, was spotted cuddling up to Topshop heiress Chloe Green, 21, during an outing to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Tuesday.
Although the couple aren't thought to have been dating long, it appeared the former Made In Chelsea reality star has already been introduced to his five-year-old twins Max and Emme, who joined the couple for their day out.

Shoe designer Chloe, who turns 22 on Saturday, looked relaxed in double denim combo of Topshop jeans, Current Elliott shirt, Victoria Beckham sunglasses and black biker boots from her own CJG collection as she strolled through the theme park holding hands with her new man.

And the socialite seemed thrilled with her new romance, posting a cryptic message on her Twitter page about her 'finding' herself during her current stint in Los Angeles.
Retweeting a message from a pal, she said: '"@VasJMorgan: LA thank you ... I've found myself ..." So have I! Xx'

Marc, who famously split from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez in 2011, was also dressed casually in blue trousers, pale blue shirt and trainers, as he strolled around the park with his new leading lady.
And he has wasted no time raving about Topshop - the clothing chain owned by Chloe's father Sir Philip Green - telling his 3.2 million Twitter followers he had the 'time of my life' in the store.
He wrote: 'Who ever doesn't know about #Topshop #Topman in LA has to get in on it! Just had the time of my life at The Grove Amazing!'

Marc and former flame Shannon announced they had ended their one year romance in January, but prompted speculation they had reunited when the brunette joined him for a family party for his eldest son Cristian's 12th birthday on February 7.

However, given his amorous body language with Chloe, it's probably safe to assume he's with the English socialite now.
Chloe - who is 23 years younger than Marc and just two years older than his eldest daughter Ariana - won't have to worry about introducing the singer to her father - they've been friends for years.

Marc and Jennifer - who is now dating 25-year-old backing dancer Casper Smart - were photographed chatting to a then-18-year-old Chloe and Sir Philip during a Topshop dinner in New York in April 2009.
Sir Philip also invited Marc and his then-wife Jennifer on to his Lionchase yacht when it was docked off the coast of the French Riviera in May 2010.
J.Lo also joined Sir Philip and Chloe at the Los Angeles launch party of Topshop just two weeks ago.

Since splitting from J.Lo in July 2011 after seven years of marriage, Marc hasn't been single for long.

As well Max and Emme, Marc is also father to Cristian, 12; and Ryan, nine, from his first marriage to beauty queen Dayanara Torres and daughter Ariana, 19, from a previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado.
Meanwhile, Chloe was most recently romantically linked to French footballer Djibril Cisse, although she insisted they were just friends.
