Still going strong! Peter Facinelli joins girlfriend Jaimie Alexander for brunch after solo outing at the Oscars

He went solo to the glamorous Oscars parties.
But it seems that there is nothing wrong with Peter Facinell's romantic life.
It was not quite as glamorous as the Oscars but the Twilight star seemed happy as he enjoyed a sunshine brunch with his girlfriend Jaimie Alexander and their friends on Tuesday.

The couple met up with a group of people to enjoy the sunshine and some tasty breakfast treats in Venice, California.
The actor walked the red carpet for Elton John's annual post Oscar bash alone on Sunday.
Sitting with a friend between them on their large table both Peter and Jaimie seemed engrossed in their table mates' conversation.
The 39-year-old clearly was enjoying having some down time, looking comfortable and relaxed as he dug into his meal.

The former husband of Jennie Garth - the couple split in March - looked smart but dressed down in blue jeans with brown suede shoes and a grey cable knit jumper.
The  star did have to drag himself away from the engrossing conversation briefly and make mad dash to add money to his parking meter.
Jaimie on the other hand chatted away with a stunning female friend and the pair seemed like they were old friends with the 28-year-old listening intently to the conversation as she put jam on her toast.

For their brunch outing Jamie donned a black long sleeved silky top which showed off her toned tummy and grey skin tight jeans.
The star had a lot to catch up with friends about having just wrapped filming for Thor: The Dark World in England.
Jaimie and Peter have been dating since last year following his split with Jennie.
Peter first debuted his new love at a November of screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.

While the father of three has stayed quiet on his new leading lady, no doubt out of respect for his ex wife of 11 years, Jaimie says it was his compassionate nature that drew her to him.
She gushed to US Weekly:  'Peter's a classy guy who cares a lot about the people [around him] and he makes me laugh.
'That's really more than I've ever found with anyone else.'
