The 31-year-old, whose band had a huge hit with their song, Wherever You Will Go, has been accused of harassing his former secretary, Tali Sigalus.
Siglaus, who was an office administrator for Band's recording label in 2012, filed the suit.
She alleges that Band constantly made advances towards her whilst she was on the job, despite her many protests.
According to her suit, obtained by website TMZ, the singer tried to kiss her, phoned her non-stop, tried to have sex with her and even told her that he loved her.
Siglaus alleges that it wasn't until she finished her stint of employment months later, that Band ceased the constant harassment.
In her lawsuit, Sigalus is suing for unspecified damages.
She is also trying to claim overtime wages that she says that she is owed.
The Calling has been on hiatus since 2005 and last played in Temecula, California on June 5 the same acyear.
Band played with the group, which was signed to RCA records, since the age of 15.
During their stint, the group sold over six million albums worldwide and their signature song, Wherever You Will Go, topped the Adult Top 40 for 23 weeks and was named song of the decade by Billboard magazine.
Band is also a solo artist and has released several records throughout his career.

He then later became engaged to Kristin Blanford in February, 2010.
The pair tied the knot on May 1, 2011, only to divorce just under a year later in April 2012.
